Analitika Expo 2018 is the largest exhibition for laboratory equipment solutions in Russia

The 16th International Exhibition for Laboratory Equipment and Chemical Reagents — Analitika Expo — will take place at ECC Sokolniki on 24–26 October 2018. The organiser of the exhibition is ITE Group of Companies that holds a leading position in the Russian exhibition services market.

In 15 years, Analitika Expo international exhibition became the central business platform uniting the suppliers of analytical equipment, experts from multiple laboratories, and representatives of Russian science and business spheres.

In 2018, 236 companies from 20 countries will participate in the Exhibition. The exhibitors will present laboratory equipment, furniture, chemical reagents, consumables for a complete set up of scientific and industrial laboratories, and laboratory research automation tools. Thirty-four companies will be attending the exhibition for the first time, including such leading international players as Mettler Toledo (OHAUS Corporation), Nuve, Hanna Instruments, Elmi, and Voessen. The exhibition display area has increased by 10% and will occupy 2 pavilions.

As usual, the exhibition will include the German Pavilion that will unite 20 leading manufacturers of laboratory equipment, measurement tools, and biotechnology and biochemistry equipment.  

Analytical instrument engineering is one of the fastest growing industries, which is proven by the high number of new developments displayed annually by Russian and foreign manufacturers at Analitika Expo exhibition.

In 2018, the stand of Sartorius company will be presenting the SpeedCal Mobile system compliant with national (ISO17025) and international (ISO8655) standards developed with due regard to requirements for calibration of multichannel pipettes. Parallel connection of up to 12 weighing load cells for simultaneous measurements of dose volume makes SpeedCal Mobile the fastest and the most efficient system used for such tasks in the world.
Tokio Boeki will be displaying JEOL JSM-IT500LA (Japan), a new high-performance scanning electron microscope, featuring fully automated control function, namely suction, cathode glow, image focusing, astigmatism elimination, brightness and contrast ratio adjustment, etc.

Ormet Service Centre will be displaying ROSA-1101, the first Russian modular fluid analyser that includes up to 8 measurement modules, each of which constitutes a complete analytical tool, and will also present metrological outsourcing, its new service.

Merck company will present Milli-Q® IQ 7000, a new ultrapure water system that combines modern technologies, hydraulic design, and software features that allow for efficient production of top-quality ultrapure water.

On the first day of the Exhibition, the experts of FSUE D.I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM), ITMO University, Monitoring LLC and JSC OPTEC will present the results of their latest studies associated with gas concentration determination, and will tell about the practical aspects as gas monitoring in multiple industries during the seminar titled “Modern Methods for Determining the Concentration of Gases.”

The business programme will continue with the seminar titled “Topical Issues of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Methods”. The seminar will include reports of representatives of the leading Russian scientific organisations on special aspects of usage of GC-MS and HPLC-MS in specific studies in multiple industries, including petrochemistry, medicine, biology, and herbalomics.

For the first time Analitika Expo Exhibition will be hosting conference titled “Analysis of Food” that will be held with organisational and scientific support of Scientific Council on Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Pharmcontract Group of Companies. The reporters include: Tatiana Kuchmenko, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Head of Chair of Physical and Analytical Chemistry, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies; Sergey Shapovalov, Director of the Cherkizovo Research Centre; Konstantin Eller, Professor, Head of Metabolomic and Proteomic Analysis Lab of the Federal Research Centre of Nutrition Biotechnology and Food Security.

On the same day, the Seminar titled “Russian Analytical Instrumentation: Devices Coming Soon” will be hosted that will include review of the latest developments of Russian companies and Research Institutes aimed at resolution of a wide range of issues. Chromatec Special Design Bureau CJSC, Institute for Analytical Instrumentation of Russian Academy of Sciences, Kurchatov Institute, etc. will present their devices. The seminar will be attended by Grigory Tsizin, Deputy Chairman of the Academic Council on Analytical Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences; Dmitry Milochkin, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Analytics of Chromatec Special Design Bureau CJSC; Alexey Vasiliev, Research Associate of Kurchatov Complex of Physical and Chemical Technologies of Kurchatov Institute National Research Centre.

Practical aspects of accreditation of laboratories in view of forthcoming publication of a new version of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standard will be covered on a seminar organised by Association of Analytical Centres “Analytics”.
